Now about game mechanics, thats one aspect Extinction really improved. Ghost and Psychic types suffers the most with no so good desings I liked most of them on the original, but in Extinction i think they got a little out of creativity, most aren't really that cool looking. By the end of the game ( and the original is preety long ) it was like if i had marathoned several seasons of a very good anime, It has every anime trope ever but uses them very well. There's a picture of all the characters together at the end of the game ( and it shows again in the begning of extinction ) The story is so good that said picture really get on your feels. The original story is great, the narrative is well crafted, each new character is unique and has it's place, making impact until the end. In Extinction the story doesn't make much sense and ins't as engaging as the original, characters aren't as charismatic nor have real impact or presense, some will appear and then vanish without explanation and others wil just be there and make no sense if you won't had played the first. The story on the first one is way better then Extinction. Personally i found the first a much more enjoyable experience. You find which is the best if there is one.Īnd if both are good, which would you advise me to do first?ĭont know if you already made your decision and got one of those games, but talking about nexomon, i would suggest you to really give a chance to the first Nexomon, even if it's not in your original language. Originally posted by AllMight74:Hello for those who made the 2 games. Considering each mon is only one type, strategy is very easy. This game was extremely easy for me on the standard difficulty. My experience with Coromon is different than yours. There's a lot going on in each game that a simple paragraph would not suffice. But of course, is your choice and your money. When you play Nexomon you will understand what I wrote above + you will see the difference. Why? easy answer: it is a true Monster game because every Mons feels unique. But i still recommend you to play Coromon first before Extinction. PD: Sorry to hear that about Nexomon 1 not being translated into your language. The important thing (like in Pokemon and Coromon) is to have a mixed team with different types so you can easily win every battle Nexomon is a casual experience where is not important the team you make. In Coromon every Mon feels unique (have 3 or 4 different traits, which can be useful depending of your playstyle and Mons team) but the story is linear, with a few side quests here and there. Nexomon games are just straightforward games with zero tactic (well you can increase their attack, defense etc with some "cores" but thats it, really basic). In the first Nexomon i had a lot of favoirites because of the art style). Nexomon Extinction has a better story and side quests but most of the Mons are awful looking (i only liked a few. When i said Nexomon 1 is better, is not for its story but it is better in Monster designs. Then you compare it to a third Mons that has 121. As example "this" Nexomon has 120 attack while "the other one" has 122. In Nexomon there is almost no difference between Mons. And these to say the Mons have equal statistics? They have many differences because they are fire, water, etc. Originally posted by AllMight74:I wanted to talk about Nexomon Extinction the first Nexomon is not translated into my language I will not play it.
